Got Dynomax Bullet today...

Got an 18" Dynomax Bullet muffler welded in today in place of the LM Resonator, and my god did it make a world of difference. The car sounds AWESOME. It sounds very similar decibal wise to when I had just the loudmouth on there while driving normally around town. However, when I punch it ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!!! I really can't believe how much the little dynomax muffler cleaned up and changed the exhaust note. Can't wait to go to the track tomorrow night to give the car a propper flogging. My dad hasn't been in the car since before the header install a week and a half ago. The look on his face was priceless tonight when I got on it real hard at the end of Alafaya down by Avalon Park. I have a good feeling about tomorrow night at the track, the car just feels like it pulls that much harder now.

Re: Got Dynomax Bullet today...

yeah i had a bullet on the ypipe of my flowtechs, with 3" dynomax pipe ending out where the muffler should be....sounded mean.

i am getting sick of the drone so i'm putting another bullet with a turndown on the end of the pipe (behind the axle) where the muffler would normally go.
and i'm running no tips...want to hide the turndown. i kindda like the clean look of no tips.

i'll post pics soon

Yes, I know what you mean. I switched a few years ago to the Dynomax Bullets on my Dodge Challenger and love the sound it makes with a big-block exiting through side-pipes.
