Go UCF

Students on Wednesday protested a lack of open courses and resources needed to graduate on time while the University of Central Florida boosts spending on its sports program and administrative pay raises.

football Coach George O'Leary's $700,000-plus salary, the approximately $800,000 UCF will pay to buy out the contract of former football Coach Mike Kruczek and the $2.6 million the UCF Athletic Association will pay to move all sports into Conference USA in 2005.

**** the UCF football program it suckes and always will suck...

Yeah go Snyder, my team kicked his *** in highschool and we won states.

UCF doesn't need to be wasting money on a football team with no hope.

Personally the crappy school program makes me less and less liking UCF, I played football, in highschool and enjoyed it, but don't wanna sacrifice my money and time for it.

And how does it affect my time...

I cannot graduate... so I have to stay in Orlando paying $500 rent and stuck in a part time job... out of school wether in my field or jsut working my current job, I coudl be living alot better off, and well out of v6 land

That's terrible if all that it true, but I still believe most students can graduate on time or sooner with no hassle, I did it, just plan accordingly from day one at UCF and don't fail any classes, it's that simple.

The issue of finishing on time is the same way at just about every school, not just UCF, ask around.

They're still paying Kruczek's salary because they felt they owed it to him seeing how he was there for 20 yrs., that was in the school paper when I was going there.

As an alumni, I want to see UCF's football program take off.

Whether people want to believe it or not, having a good football program puts a school on the map, period.

A good football program is really helping MIT, Cal Tech, Berkley, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU, Cambridge, Creighton, La Salle, and on and on and on

I am just saying UCF is a middle ground for those who do not want to go as far as FSU or Gainesville.

beyond that they keep bussing in no name professors, former grad assistants for classes.

Don't get me started on school books... I fecking soled 4 books to people this semester that the school would not buy back, even though they are still in use and on sale this semester, One book is a new edition, well I failed the class in spring, kept the book, then they got a new edition, I passed it this semester, and now they have another new edition. Its just B.S. to make money.
