So I was making some test passes in the Camaro on a back road near UCF...
...and I almost freaking hit a DEER! Yes as in Bambi...
I was at the little road that continues if you go straight at the end of Mculloch behind UCF. Its my little test road. I was trying some stuff out also seeing how long I could run my car without a drivebelt to see if maybe I coudl make a pass without it. So here I am top ending 3rd gear, maybe 80ish mph, when a deer comes out stands in the road and looks at me, I hit the brakes, not going to make it in time, so I let off the brakes and go to swerve, which felt funky without power steering. I got around it, but was sweating a bit afterwards
I was going fast enough that it wasn't hard to swerve, but it jsut didn't feel natural like it usually does when I swerve around road debris...
Either way me, bambi, and the car are alright... Thats the 2nd time since I have been at UCF that I was in a car that almost hit a deer within a mile of UCF.

Jsut this road has been used for man of many full test passes, I can get to full 1/4 mile speed, stop, and run a 1/4 again before I get ot a road that has any civilization on it.
Just a little too far in the middle of nowhere I guess

I woudl not be too terribly surprised if it were to say, put up a time that did not include the number 5 anywhere in it

that road is awesome, very easy to get a 1/4 run in on it
also, ahve you watched the news lately? that road has been on the news stations quite a bit lately cause when they installed it they basically cut right through the swamp back there, and now one side is dry and dieing and the other side is flooded and dieing. they're thinking about taking out parts of it and putting in bridges and/or colverts or whatever.
