That is so awesome Allen! When do I get to meet her? I think I know you pretty well and you wouldn't do something like this unless you were really sure. So yeah, I'm really excited for you!!! I would be in your situation too if it was for the whole not getting married before she's out of college thing. I'd propose now but a long engagement would drive us both nuts(I think you know why) Anyway, I'm going to give you a call one of these days when I have the time(working a bunch lately). Oh my Gosh. All I can say is congrats!!! Sorry I was in bed last night when you called (I know, me in bed by 8 o'clock?), but my back is out and I had to stay in.

Let me just say this. I know you very very well and I remember how many times you and I would talk about how you wanted to split up with Janice, but couldn't bring yourself to do it. You were terrified she would hurt herself, and you have never wanted to hurt anyone in your entire life. It's just not part of who you are. I remember many times sitting up with you late at night and on the phone and at lunch, etc. telling you how I wished you had someone in your life who appreciated you for the wonderful person you are. Now you finally do!! I can only hope she is as good to you as I know you are to her.

I also remember how many times I encouraged you never to give up, and that there was someone out there that was perfect for you and that when you met her you would know it. Know you have, and you do. I am ecstatic to be able to say that one of my closest friends has finally found happiness. Hey I know this is gushy, but I am a girl, you know.

I wish you nothing but the best, send you all the love in the world, offer you any help should you need it, and I promise to key your Camaro while you're away if I don't get to meet her soon.

CONGRATUALTIONS! At least I got to see her for a few seconds when you were here. When will you be back? The car is now Electron Blue by the way. Where are you stationed (California? IF so how far from L.A. because I am flying out there soon)? I have a friend stationed in North Carolina I am cruising to see. Maybe if you are on the way...

Well, I'll be back in Orlando in early may. Unfortunately I leave for Texas later this morning so I won't be out in Cali anymore. I'm getting station in Boston right after my trip home in May.
