there were about as many people as last weekend, maybe a little bit more. there was a LOT more rice than last weekend, people with huge wings and fart cannons running mid to high 16's.
my friends 1967 VW beetle ran mid 20's

i won't be going back for awhile though, its getting expensive, and its definantly not good for the car or my street tires.
but the best part of the night was being able to just talk cars with other camaro guys. everyone is so friendly all ya gotta do is walk up and ask what they're running

As for my battery its very ghetto, The bolt down thing is still in mine on the side cler to the engein, so I wedged a roll of electrical tap interh, and then wrapped my battery with a yellow rope.
I been meaning ot do the battery hold odwn thing fomr autozone but I ahve a hard time getting aroudn to things on my car
.
Don't worry about 17s, I can gurantee he will not be the slowest times of the night, last wed. I saw a 3rd gen 305 running 17s, among other cars.
