The BadRap guys are meeting up in Tampa at 8am to head to Orlando.. It'd be awesome if you guys could haul a little *** and try and catch up to us on the way over to orlando.

There should probably be 10 to 15 cars in our group.. 9-14 if i dont get my freaking car up and running...

If anyone wants to give me there cell phone number who is meeting up in the sarasota group I could talk to you and see if could get the bad rap guys to wait 1/2 or so while you guys catch up to us.

i think i'm even closer, i live on the other side of 408 in waterford. it takes me all of 5 min to get there.

If you sarasota guys could leave your meeting spot at 7:30 and meet us -
2 exits east of 75 on route 4 will be Mcintosh road. There is a seven eleven on the south side.It is a big gas station and will be perfect for everyone.

I'll be in contact with Steve on his cell phone so i know how close you sarasota guys are or if u need any additional directions or something.

hey zdriver96, i was reading the badrap board and saw you guys were planning on taking 417. if i were you, i'd take 408. if you take 417 you will pay out the a$$ in tolls, but you won't go through the city. since its a saturday traffic won't be bad and 408 only costs $1.25 and i think its a little quicker. once you get off on alafaya, colonial is closer to 408 than 417. just a suggestion.

We'll be leaving before 8am but we will not be leaving at 7am.

So chances are we'll be leaving alittle after 7:30 from the meeting spot.

Hope you Sarasota guys can leave your meeting spot at about 7am on the dot. Should give you enough time to reach us alittle after 7:30. Just dont do the speed limit getting to us

From Central Sarasota it is about a 55 mile drive to our meeting spot in Tampa. So you'll have to drive 83mph to reach us in Tampa in 1/2 hour if u leave at 7am from your meeting spot.

I could probably keep everyone there until 7:40 am.

 

I might take you up on that... I am still thinking of a rental Camaro.

 

Well I do beleive all of us are meeting up at SR64 in Bradenton the same exit as the strip. It shouldn't take us to long to get there from our meeting point.

 

ok since other people are leaving earlier i think i'm going to have to leave earlier too. 7:00 is too early for me, but i think i'll probably leave around 8:15. if anyone still wants to meet up let me know, otherwise i'll just cruise over by myself. i'm sure i'll be stuck in traffic w/ tons of gm cars anyway so it will be all god no matter what.

Hmm.... word on my car they are goign to try and get on a lift but so far they need to replace 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear synchros maybe more. Damn I really am good at trashing t5 drivetain
parts.


Rven if my car is done on time, I am not sure I am going to compete this saturday, I still do not have a helmet, and I liek to put some easy miles on my car to break in some of the tranny parts.
