I was wondering if UCF offered anything kind of mechanics class as an elective or anything similar? Do they offer any "fun" elective here like SCUBA or anything?

 

I am taking Personal finance... not really a fun class... but something interesting since no matter what you do you are going to manage your finances.

 

You could always sign up for golf.....its not a bad way to spend a couple hours a week.

 

Way back when I was at SCC :cough: almost 15 years ago :cough: I took Volleyball, golf and waterskiing. What a hoot that was. They had a SkiNatique in a lake adjacent to the school. It was worth the tuition just to be able to ski behind that boat. Talk about yanking you up out of the water.

 

a few years ago I heard they had a program for race engine building. It was a masters degree program though that required a b.s. in engineering so it is probably not available as an elective. I haven't heard anything about it lately either so I am not sure it is even still there.
