Detail Fest
Detail Fest
Autogeek DetailFest 12/10/05
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has come to our attention that many Floridian forum members would like to get together and have a detailing meet. As a forum sponsor, Max has decided to provide a place to make this happen.
Please e-mail me at Matt@Autogeek.net if you would like to participate, just so we get a general idea of how many people will be coming.
What will be provided:
-access to water to wash your cars
-parking spaces
-electricity (for buffers, etc)
-live internet access
-discounts at the meet
With your reserved spot, you will receive a free "1st annual Autogeek DetailFest" t-shirt
Max will order the t-shirts this week, but if anyone has any suggestions for a better name, we welcome your opinion, but for now it's a Detail Fest
Bring any of your favorite chemicals, buffers, towels, etc. that you plan on using.
You are not obligated to buy anything, but we will be having great sales for participants only. (think of how much you save on shipping )
Each car will be photographed for our "Events" page to be put on our web site.
Please feel free to post any suggestions you may have

Hey all, got some new information from another board so I thought I would share...
"Just got some new information from Max. We will be giving away quite a few things on the day of our DetailFest (12-10-05).
So far, the first 50 people who reserve a spot will each get a free t-shirt. (reservation is required)
If you would like to reserve your spot, please PM me, post here, or e-mail me at Matt@Autogeek.net so I can add you to the list. If you already reserved a spot, then I already have you on the list so don't worry about it.
We will also be holding a raffle for the following products:
-1 Complete Wash System w/Dolly (your choice of Autogeek, Pinnacle, or Wolfgang logo/theme)
-6 ALL NEW Raggtopp Leather kits
-$35 worth of your choice of Poorboy's products
-$100 worth of your choice of Four Star products
-Choice of any Cobra microfiber kit
-Choice of any Pinnacle kit
-Choice of any Wolfgang kit
-Choice of any DP kit
Max is on a roll, and he's working on making that list even bigger
Also, once again you will have access to power, water, and the internet if you would like to post on the forums while the meet is taking place.
If you are bringing a buffer, etc please make sure you bring an extension cord, and we will be happy to supply you with power.
Feel free to bring friends to come hang out and have a good time!
More news will come soon

Re: Detail Fest
yeah... donde esta?
think some people might be able to help me with buffing issues?
(damage from hurricanes, road debris and various other stuff) Some of it is not repairable and I know some of it is... would be cool to have a hand with it.
even if I don't get a few coats of zaino on the car.

If Krylon fills in small chips/dings/scratches then theres a few spots around my car I could use it..but the front bumper is a lost cause I think...I'll have to get a closeup pic of it and show ya.
