Post Dealer won't change oil...

I have free oil changes form when I purchased my car from my dealer...I went today and they "can't accomadate my vehicle...it is too low..." They wont drive it on a piece of wood then onto the lift...which I instructed them to do...They referred me to a quick lube type of place...So I am gonna go back Mondday and ask for an oil filter and 5 quarts of oil...Think I will get that out of them??? I doubt it! I know these oil changes are not "free," I bet they were worked into the price of the car cause nothing is ever free...Mind you this is the same dealer who claims I have an after market shift kit in my M6! I will not go back to Rathman for any more service. They don't know jack about my car or many of the cars they service...Time to try Palm Bay Chevy...At least they noticed the paint when I pulled it in...

yep I had same problems with Maroone Chevy in south Florida.

It used to be Gary Fronrath, free lifetime oil changes never needed an appointment.

Well Gary Fronrath(family bought 7 cars there) was bought out by Maroone. My dad bought his 2k form Maroone. My got free life time oil changes "added option" so he paid for them with the car. Maroone won't do oil changes with out an appointment understandable. Well whenever I am in town and can get a free oil change I do and my dad usually makes me get on on his car too. I call to make an appointment, they have a hard time getting me a time to do an oil change on my car, since its deal was with Gary Fronrath but Maroone still has to honor his deals. I have to finght to get an appointment the same week. And its usually 9 am or some other early time. Then I call later for dads appointment after he tells me he wants one, they give me pretty much any day and time I want. Pisses me off...

To top it off, last time I got a free oil change they put the wrong filter on my car and caused my low oil pressure problems a little while. Until in tracking it down I noticed the filter not look right and none of my exact fitting oil filter wrenches did not fit.

I sent them an e-mail that they will never touch my car again and that we will not buy another car form them again, this is jsut one of the headaches they have given us. we have bough 7 cars form one guy at the address and bought one and only on from the guy that is there now.

As for Central florida. World Chevy so far has been quick with stuff on me and gave me no warranty B.S. on my dad's car when the clutch system crapped out. They fixed it as quick as possible only took liek 3 days. And my ignition lock cylinder took like a day. We took my friend's car there when he blew out his tranny at the track on his first run dead stock. Only took about 5 days to replace it. Not bad because they appear to be swamped whenever you look at them.
