Bradenton/Sarasota Exhaust Shops

I want to get a custom y-pipe (stainless steel) made for my car and a new cat-back installed in the near future. Does anyone here know of any good exhaust shops in the Bradenton/Sarasota area? Thanks.

I'd say come back to town and visit your folks some weekend. Then my friend Jaime could do it, but he just had a really bad motorcycle wreck about a week ago. Needless to say he won't be able to do much for at least a few months. If you can hold off for a few months, he does awesome work. Otherwise I'd check towards Tampa.

Did your friend Jaime work for a muffler shop in Sanford, Mr. Muffler?

I was just back in town this past weekend. I left the west coast temporarily and the damn hurricane followed me. Did you have a lot of damage? My folks had a tree fall on their shed with minimal damage and my uncle had two fall on his house, but only bent the gutters, and we all had no power for about a day, pretty crappy weekend.

I'm probably gonna have this work done soon, but I'll keep your friend in mind.

hmm, the yahoo map shows the wrong location......not sure why
http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt...WAJATq_VIDvgpi

he is actually off of 12th, directly above where the yahoo map shows

if you are heading east on 12th, you pass the lime st intersection, and then there is a large brown building on the south side of the street, turn in their (its a bunch of garage/warehouse buildings) and staceys is the very last one on the west side.

be very careful when you're trying to find stacey's. it's not really on a "street". the driveway to those buildings has a street sign out there for some reason. it's right down the road from the baseball field if i remember correctly.

Yup, that's him... drives a red SS. He won't be back to work there for at least 2 months, he's banged up pretty bad.

No real damage here, a small tree limb broke, but didn't snap all of the way off. I had to trim it and despose of it... not a big job. The front fascia on the car port next to the shop ripped loose most of the way. I was able to bend it back into shape and reinstall the screws. It's as good as new. We were really lucky as far as no damage, the worst of it was 3 full days w/o power.

I used to see his car parked outside of that shop whenever I was going to work via 17-92. Kinda hard to miss a red SS.
