Hey guys i got a 95 z28 and for the past two weeks it has had starting problems, when key turned to start it just makes a loud click, its not the battery because i tryed to start car with the lights on, i think it is the starter solenoid because the click is comming from the starter. could it maybe just be a relay? and if it is the starter solenoid should i just replace the whole starter due to 136k on the car. Yes get the lt4 starter from autozone .Sounds like yours is toast but first check the connections at the starter..

 

thanks turns out it was the starter took it off today connections where clean and on, replaced with duralast start. alot better then the old one
