Exclamation 1993 Z28 for Parts w/355 motor

I guess 'tis the season', I saw another post similar to this.

Anyhow I have a 1993 Green/grey z28, with silver racing stripes, that my wife rearended someone with at about 15mph. Very light damage but the airbags deployed so the insurance totalled it. I bought the car back with intentions of using the motor in a 69. Well the 69 fell through, and I need to just get it out of my garage.

The car has power everything, t-tops etc. The damage from the wreck is the hood front bumper and passenger front fender. (the windshield has a crack from the airbag, not the accident) The car is a 6spd with about 109,000. The speedo reads more because of the gears in the rear. (had 4.10's now its 3.73's)

The motor has only about 9,000 miles on it. It is a new 355 LT1 block (bored .30 over) has JE forged pistons, 1.6rockers, cc306 cam, oliver 6" rods (shaved and fluxed), ported/polished heads, intake and throttle body (58mm) ported to match. New valves, seats, springs, etc. Digital 6 ignition, morroso cold air, mac headers (some surface rust from sitting), true dual exhaust with dual flowmasters (custom made), Ed-Wright, with custom edits, chip......etc.

I made 4 passes at the track with the setup on pep boy futura tires (rears are brand new fronts are pretty low, they were the old rears) 2 runs @118.2mph and 2 runs @ 117.6mph.

Interior is in great condition, no wear marks on the driver seat or any tears. The top of the dash is cracked from the airbag.

any other questions feel free to ask. I can be reached at

bythedice@aol.com

we are leaving this apartment soon so I need to move it. I am asking $3500 OBO for everything. Motor and car. I really do not want to sell this seperately, I just don't have the time.

thanks,
Daniel

isn't the motor alone worth about that much? seems like a good deal for someone with the cash

anasazi - Yeah, I think it is a pretty nice deal. Especially for someone wanting a nice boost in power and not want to spend the time/money to have someone beef up there motor. I just am reaching the ends of my time limits and need to move it.

93_Z28_6spd - Unfortunatly in the state of florida if an insurance company totals out a car, regardless of condition, it recieves a non-rebuildable title. You also asked if its drivable I think. No, the radiator support was pushed back about 2 inches which put a crease in the battery and caused it to leak. It started up and ran before the battery drained..

I am trying to get my brother to come over to get some pictures of it up.

The car is in Jacksonville FL btw (not sure if thats in my profile). And also to add, its a 4-bolt main with splayed end caps.

Shot you guys both mail. I had a friend from work look at it today, he's supposed to get back with me on maybe getting it for his son. There is another person coming to look at it tommorow for the motor. Although I would much rather sell it as a whole though. I did not install the motor here and don't really have the set up to do it at the momment. But if it comes down to it, I guess it could be done....So I will give you guys preference over the person looking at it for just the motor. Thats one of the reasons i have come down on the price, to avoid the labor!

Thanks,
D
