What do you think of my set-up???

Well,
I've got a 97 Trans AM WS6 M6 with approx 40,000miles and right now it's bone stock with the exception of a K&N filter(wow)! Anyways, I plan on doing the following in the next 2 months,

1)Mac Headers(optional ceramic coating) and offroad pipe(93-95 style)with o2 sims
2)Borla cat-back
3)Thunder racing OVC wire set
4)NGK TR55 plugs(platinum)
5)BMR LCA's
6)BMR anti-squat brackets(bolt in)
7)BMR adjustable panhard bar
8)Eibach sportline springs
9)Pro 5.0 shifter
10)MBA billet shift ****(red engraved WS6)
11)BFGoodrich G-force kd's (P275/40ZR-17)

So what do you think? Any HP and TQ predictions?1/4 mile times? I know the ride will be a little rough but it will look and sound bad*ss IMO. Also, besides michelin pilot sports, is there a better tire for less money? Ohh yeah, my car's red with tinted windows(20%side and 5% rear).
Thanks in advance!
Tyler

i'd say you have a good setup going.

couple thoughts on it though:
why waste all that money on a Borla when you can buy a cat back for half that and install a cutout for $50? or you could just go for a loudmouth which eliminates the need for a cutout.

look into the firehawk SZ50 tires, they rock...nough said.

why are you looking at the single cat conversion? MAC sells headers and offroad pipes for dual cat cars...for $60 more.

instead of spending $100 on o2 sims, have your ecm tuned, it will give you more power and you can have the rear o2 sensors programmed out at the same time. look into madwolf or www.pcmforless.com

the speculation is that 94-95 style headers are more efficient than the cramped 96-97 style...IMO if your going to have to go through all that anyway just get LT's. They really aren't that much more than shorties unless you spend a lot on the Y-pipe.

I wouldn't get the mac headers. Look into getting some headers that have 1 3/4" collectors because if you start getting into head work, cams, etc. you will need the extra flow. I wouldn't worry about the shifter or all the suspension mods right now. I would personally lean towards some 3.73 or 4.10 gears or a cam. Drop the borla and go with an electronic cat back. It is cheaper, you get better performance, and my personal fav....you can scare the crap out of ricers Also, if you are going to get platinum plugs, make sure that you aren't going to put nitrous on in a long time. Platinum and nitrous together are a big no no and you don't want to have to change your plugs out twice if you do get nitrous down the road. Trust me, changing plugs on our car sucks! Ditch the o2 shims and just get your comp reprogrammed.
I know that was alot, but I wouldn't have typed it if I didn't think it would help.
