i just got the air filter from moroso.com and i was just wondering do they give them to you pre-oiled? it feels a little slimy

Yes, if you could, please link to where you found replacement filters for the Moroso CAI. Mine has a tear in it

As far as pre-oiling, I couldn't answer that. You can always go down to pep-boys/autozone and pick up a K&N recharger kit for 10 bucks (which you'll eventually need anyway).

 

I thought the filter was made for Moroso by K&N. Sure looks like a K&N filter.
