I had noticed the turn signals had been acting funny. Sometimes they would flash fast, and other times they would flash slow. Today, while sitting at a stop light, giving a left turn signal, they stopped working. Neither side works, nor do any bulbs light up with the signal lever in either left or right mode. Seems odd all four bulbs would blow at once, if that's what it is. Parking lights work, as do the hazards, and the brake lights. Replaced the fuse, but that didn't work. Would the flasher cause this? Car is a '96 Formula.

 

The turn signal flasher would be a good thing to check.

 

It was the flasher. I suspected it probably was. Glad I don't have to go into the steering column.
