Any downside to LT1 Xtreme 224/236 nitrous cam with stock heads?

Due to lack of funds I've been thinking about just slapping the stock 96 aluminum heads and 224/236 LT1 Xtreme nitrous cam on my 96 Impy. I know these heads flow a little less than my stock iron heads but I hope that the raised CR and lighter weight will make up for that.

Any input?

I figure I can sell my iron heads and new valve springs for enough to buy a 2nd set of aluminum heads and get those ported later...

I'm already running a 175 shot with the stock iron heads, stock cam, valve springs and GMPP 1.6 RR's.

Hoping that cam and head swap will put me into the 11's!

i'm not 100% sure but i thought i read somewhere that the '96,'97 aluminum heads were the same casting as the Iron LT1 heads? meaning they should flow the same stock for stock and weigh a little less

I think lloyd does very good porting for 400-500 dollars that isn't much and will really help the cam out.
