How much fuel is being returned to the tank while running. I know it's an off the wall question but I was just wondering if it's a constent flow or what.

 

It depends on how much you are using at the time. At idle, probably most of it is being returned and at WOT, probably 25% (just a SWAG) is being returned on a stock engine with a stock pump. On your engine, who knows. It's when no fuel is being returned that you have a problem..
