fuel pump hot wire kit
how essential is it to run this hot wire kit with the racetronix pump? need to replace the pump but cant really afford the whole kit right now unless i just have to

Extremely important. The 18 (16?) gauge factory wiring is marginal for the stock pump. When you install an aftermarket pump with its added current draw, you are inviting disaster. The 10-12 gauge wiring will handle the added current draw very well.
