ASM Monoblade sticking.

So I put on a monoblade cause I hear its the best as far as not sticking and guess what, it sticks. Worse than my 58mm Holley. Are there any tricks to getting this thing to close 100% all the time. I've got my tps set at about .62 at 0% throttle and my idle set at about 675-700rpm in gear warm. My IAC counts are roughly 50ish at warm idle in gear. If I open the blade to 1% it drops the IAC to 0 and doesn't really change the idle. I've also adjusted the throttle cable linkage so I get 100% throttle.

Also what is the vacuum port on the side of the throttle body cause my monoblade doesn't have any provisions for that or the oil breather hose. What are you guys doing for these two vacuum ports?

I am running a monoblade. It is a DBW type. While not anything close to the same thing, I did run a breather replacing the line from the valve cover. It is basically the only option since there is no provision for connection.

The vacuum port (lower connection) on the passenger side of the stock throttle body is the vacuum for the EVAP purge solenoid.

From Shoebox:

The upper port (line to the valve cover) is not a vacuum port. Its connected to an opening in front of the blades, and supplies clean, MAF measured air to the PCV system.

Does it stick with the throttle cable off? Maybe it's the cable and not the TB. A bigger spring might help.

So I guess I'll have to run a breather for the pcv and either delete the evap system or splice into another vacuum port to keep it functional.

I emails AS&M and they want me to send it back in to have it looked at.

Also I have adjusted the throttle cable so that there is enough slack to let it close all the way, but not too much so the blade won't open 100%.
