You have not provided enough information.

What is the exact size of the "rims" (aka "wheels") you are buying? If they have 17" tires on them, they must be 17" diameter. That's only 1/4 of the specification. What is the width of the wheel? What is the offset (or backspace) of the wheel? What is the bolt circle of the wheel? Only by knowing all that information can anyone tell you if the wheels will fit.

Your tire information is also incomplete. A tire needs to be specified in terms of:
-section width (appears the tires you are buying are 245mm)
-the aspect ratio of the tire (you are missing that info)
-the wheel diameter they will fit (appears its 17").

The tire will be marked "245/xx-17", with "xx" the missing aspect ratio. Typically, to match the tire diameter currently on your car (25.7"), you would want a 245/45-17 tire. That size tire works on a 7.5" - 9.0" wide wheel.

Get the complete info, and we'll provide the answer.

I don't know the exact messure ments on the rims I'm going to look at. I know they are zr1 s and they fit on a 02 ta. Right now I just have the stock 16 inch. The 02 doesn't have wheel spacers or anything and they fit just fine. I haven't even seen them yet I'm just wondering if they fit on an 02 should they fit on a 97 or would there be a huge difference

they will fit if they were on an 02 T/A. your car is the same so if they fit his, they'll fit yours.

Real (and most replica) ZR1's are 17x9.5". A 245/45-17 tire is too small for a 9.5" wide wheel. You need 275/40-17's.
