scanmaster for my 96 lt1

does anyone have any information on a scanmaster that can be used for a 96 lt1 camaro? do they exist? i know the ls1 scanmaster will work but will not read or clear dtc's is there any one that works for my car?if not ,no big deal. but i would like to know. thanks.

Dont think they exist. Think its only OBD1. I might be wrong though.

The Scanmaster LT1 will not read OBD-II codes. It will not "reset" codes in OBD-I or OBD-II. On the other hand, there are several aftermarket OBD-II scanners that are intended be dash mounted, with selectable display of parameters and sensor readings.

I don't have the part #'s.... I don't have an OBD-II PCM (I don't even use the stock PCM to run the engine). You need to do a "search". They are out there - I have seen them advertised in magazines, and I have seen posts from people who have bought them. They are "universal" OBD-II scanners, not LT1-specific.
