1. I go outside and start the car, yea it was a little cold, Fired it up and it idled up to 1500, let it warm up and it still never moved...I cut the car off and fired it back up and it went straight to 1000 rpms.

2. Was in a drivethru today idling at about 850-900 rpms and I put my car in park....It idled up to 2k rpms....put it back in gear and it went back to 850...Got out of the drive thru and put it back in park and it was stuck idling at 1500.


Can someone confirm that this is more than likely just a sticky iac valve.

 

sounds like your IAC. thats what i had happen when my was going out.
