vacuum tube - need part # (evap to tb)

Anyone have that part number (AHEM shoebox)? I am in need of it. I went to the track and realized that it is not there! I bet it killed my power big time.

Thanks in advance!

Why not just (AHEM) go to Shoebox's part # page and look it up?

It's there.

Hah, I did not look hard enough. Thanks guys.

How bad would it be to run without that vacuum line on? Just a bad vacuum leak? Could it cause any damage besides getting junk in the intake manifold?

Again... hate to ask the obvious question. Why not just put a vacuum cap on the nipple on the throttle body (or tape it up, if you don't have a cap) and prevent the vacuum leak?

Its pulling in dirty air, bypassing the MAF sensor, and throwing off the A/F ratio, and possibly the idle speed. While the PCM may be able to compensate for it in closed loop, when you go WOT it may not be able to. Other than that, I can't think of any good reason to plug it up.

If its the hose I think it is, I've got a brand new one, I dont need anymore. No miles on it, just installed on the car and removed.

Injuneer, it will be fixed and I will not start the car until then. I was having idle issues and my MPH was a little low. Thanks for the confirmation of what I was thinking was happening there.
