I was just curious when building a LTx motor how one determines the max allowable SCR on 91 octane. Like can the SCR be unlimited as long as the DCR is no higher than 9 : 1 ? I know cam, head and piston selection all play a role just curious what the max one can run on pump in a street driven DD ltx

What is the max YOU would run on DD?

 

From what I understand DCR is the main thing you want to check. Because you can go way big on the cam and bring the DCR down even if the SCR is high. Wait for others to chime in though.
