Engine harness question...

Ok, my headers burned through my engine harness and whenever my O2's are plugged in I get a random stumble. So, I figured I would replace the harness as well as my O2's in order to be certain to fix the problem. The car is a 95 TA so I need to know what harnesses will work. I know my friends 97 has a different harness because the connector on his coil is different. So I would imagine the 94 and 95's may have the same harnesses. Are there any differences between the camaro and TA harnesses? I rather doubt there would be, but I figured I'd ask.

Thanks in Advance guys.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything that would be different for 94-95 Camaro or Firebird engine harnesses (unless one was an early 94 harness that has the oil pressure sensor by the oil filter [would be just a longer wire]). Functionally, they should be the same.
The opti harness would be different between 94 and 95, but that unplugs from the engine harness.

Shoebox is correct, the 94-95 harnesses are the same. Also Camaro and Firebird harnesses are the same, the only difference is between automatic and manual. I have a couple of "parts" harnesses and complete harnesses in the forsale section that could be used to replace or repair yours. Check them out and let me know if I can help.

I don't want to try and patch it again, especially since it is the O2's that need patching which are really sensitive so I want them to function properly. Injuneer once posted their tolerances on WS6ZXR and I know it was insane, so I'm looking for one in one piece. Do you have a 95 complete harness for a manual LT1 car? If so, how much do you want for it?

I have a 94-95 M6 harness for $35 shipped, I will take a look at it in the morning, see what kind of shape it is in and get back with you during the day.

Well, it looks like you would be in the same boat with this harness. Have you thought about de-pinning the O2 connectors, cutting them back, attaching new terminals where you cut the harness back to, reinstalling your connector bases and then using a O2 extension to connect to your O2? That way you wouldn't have to use splices or mend the harness. The replacement terminals should be available at your local dealer thru the Delphi electrical repair line.
