whats this hole for under the intake
1993 lt1 intake,
on the underside of the manifold under where that metal oil cover goes, it looks almost like a slot for a quarter to go in
whats its purpose?

and air leaves the crankcase via pcv valve which is located?.. ( is it the tube coming out of the back of the intake-mines blocked off)?
so as for the hole on the underside of the manifold.. is air going from the manifold into the crankcase, or the other way around?
Yes.
The PCV valve is in the LH middle of the intake manifold. http://shbox.com/1/pcv.jpg
Air moves from the crankcase and out the intake through the PCV. It goes through the vacuum line on the PCV valve back into the intake to be burned with the a/f mixture.

ohhh alright i understand, the hole under the intake goes directly to the pcv valve. from looking at it fast i thought the hole was just a general hole going into the runner area of the intake manifold,
thanks for clearing that up,
