Opinions on this cam!

This is the cam Im thinking of goin with but im not sure on the lobe. the specs are
242/248 .584/.579 (w/1.6) on a 113.

Off the shelf it comes with XFI lobes but I was thinking about going with XE lobes, would I notice anything using those?

Its going in a LT1 355 9:1, LE3 heads 2.02/1.6, TC-78 w/ .96A/R. itll see street, strip and Road course duty. itll need to be an all around performer.

Another question. To get its street manners a little tamer how much would I gain/loose if I put it on a 114 instead of a 113?

I don't think 1° of LSA is gonna make a difference at all. Not noticeably, anyway.

That's a big cam. Have you carefully researched blower cams? I can't render an opinion since I am ignorant regarding "best cams" for blowers. Do you have a tuner lined up to dial it in?

Ok after talking with a few more ppl that large of a duration is not for me... I ended up going with a 236/236 .580/.580 on a 114 +4 with 3196 lobes and 977 springs.... we will see how it performs!
