Anyone have the Ebay Hot Cam?

Well turns out the cam I got was one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SBC-R...1.c0.m14.l1318 Think there is any difference between this regrind and a real lt4 hot cam? Anyone running one of these?

The HOT cam is 218/226. Your cam says 219/228.

I have seen it listed as 218/228, 218/229 and now 219/228.

Not sure if they just measure all of them and each cam gets it own cam card(can't see that though) or if they measure one form every batch and all of that batch gets the same cam card.

If you ever see a cam on the "Cam Doctor", you would be amazed to see the difference in lobes through the cylinders (exact duration and individual centerlines for each lobe). Alot less common in billet cams and better quality cams but the regrind places are gonna have some variance.

FWIW, there is a place in Dallas Tx called Norfleet that can regrind a stock LT1 cam to the specs you want for $40. Not that I would go that route or not that it is the best choice for a cam BUT if you are considering buying on of this guys "regrind" cams for that much $$$, you can save some $$$ and have the same thing.

LOL! I guess I should not trust the internet for cam specs.
The cam card would seem to be the real thing.

Then, his "Ebay" cam is the same. Case closed.
