1.6 pro form full roller rocker ?

While doing the finishing touches on my 385 i went to place the valve covers on. Well that didnt work becuase they dont fit. My pro form rockers are too big. Has anyone modified there valve covers to fit. or can someone recommend a good set of taller valve covers?
thanks
Chris

Just cut the supports out. This is a common mod when going to aftermarket rockers. Try a search.

I run pro-for rockers, and I just pinched the bottom L portion of the support flat.

In other words, with a pair of pliers squezed the {L} into an {l} shape, and it fit fine without cutting the supports out...

Great info thanks. How about the passenger side oil breather portion of the covers. Right now i have a breather cap on it. Do i rip that out too?
That square piece looks to be vidal.

I don't recall doing anything special to my breather baffle, I might have squeezed it a little with a pair of channel locks, but I can't remember since it was a few years ago now...

Do not remove the webs completely. They are there to distribute the clamping force of the center bolts to the perimeter of the covers, to provide a good gasket seal. Pinch the webs, or trim them, but do not remove them. Dimple the baffle for the oil breather tube connection, or you will end up blowing oil out of the breather when the engine is under max load and blowby is at its highest level.
