help car poping

Angry help car poping

i just got my car back toghter got it tuned no check engine light but when u give it more then 1/4 throtle it just pops no popping while idleing would no vac to the opti cause it to pop it a 96 m6 car with a small cam

Check the plugs wires two or three times to be sure.

i have changed the plugs 3 times and it a new set of wires it would pop at idle if i had a wire crossed it only pop under a load

Popping out of the exhaust sounds like an ignition issue.
I would check your plugs, wires, coil, and opti.

can the opti go bad from sitting in my garage for 2 years while my car was apart and do u need the vac source to the opti

I had 5 and 7 wires crossed and it idled fine, but as soon as you tried to rev it, it backfired. Swapped just those two and now it's perfect.

Pretty much same story here, but mine were cyl 6 and 8. Check the wires again and again all the way from the opti to where the plugs.

i am about to go buy a new opti if that dont fix it i am lost

ok connect the vac source to the opti and it better it not as bad of a poping but still pop every now and then i going to change the cap and rotor in the opti

You connected the vacuum lines up to the opti and it ran better? That's strange. Maybe got some moisture in there when they were off.

mabe it got moisture in there from sitting my car does not see rain or snow i dont even drive it if the ground wet
