I have had a new ac/delco optispark unit put on my 93z28. It also has msd cap and rotor and msd 8.5 wires. ngk tr55 plugs.should I have an ignition box and new coil put on for more fire in the hole,or will they hurt my new optispark.oh by the way, new water pump also. lmk what you have, how its working out and any suggestions.loooking for better throttle response. thanks snareman

 

Nothing wrong with upgrading the coil, if you want. As for the box, it is not worth the money unless you are pushing more cubes, heads/cam, forced induction, ect.
