Aeromotive FPR ... failure or bad gauge?

I installed a new AM FPR a couple weeks ago and adjusted the FP to what I wanted ... about 35psi with the vacum line disconnected.

Subsequent to that, I noticed my gauge "sticking", requiring a little tap to get it to clear. It has always shown the adjusted FP.

Now, the gauge is pegged at 60psi.

After reading about AM FPRs being prone to failure, I never really read anywhere stating the failure mode.

I can easily enough reinstall the stock unit, but would prefer not if it's the gauge.

I have already ordered a new gauge because of the "sticking" problem.

If the vacuum line has fuel in it...it failed.
