steam pipe or intake manifold?

Hey guys need some 2nd or 3rd or 4th opinions lol. I pulled the trans cuz it is nuked. Happened to look at the back of the heads and I can see leakage marks running down them, It seems to be the steam pipe gasket im sure, but then it also seems to run down the corner of the intake manifold, could that be?? the PASS side head has more of it showing from the steam pipe seal, whereas the drivers side, shows more of it coming from the intake manifold cover

If it is just steam pipe seal spraying everywhere, can I remove the pipe and re-install with same gaskets or they need to be replaced?

Can I re-torque those corner intake manifold bolts? thanks for help, much appreciated

The engine is pretty clean as far as engines go. The seals are just little rubber washers and they are cheap, I don't see why you would have to replace the steam pipe.

Per shbox.com:
1995-1997 steam pipe behind heads, incl bolts and seals 12556260 $24.91
1993-1997 coolant steam pipe seals 10108689 $3.00
1993-1997 coolant steam pipe bolts 12552974 $3.07

A pressure test is a good idea, should tell you if your steam pipe is leaking, you can borrow a pressure tester from Autozone ($25 bucks which you get back when you return the tool).
Good luck with it all.

i'm not sure if i'm looking at the right thing or not but it looks like where water has run off of the engine where the head meets the intake, maybe from normal driving.

Lol, I don't see anything leaking. One little drip line that could have come from who knows where and dried up a long time ago.

I know I relised this last nite on my last post, felt like a tool when I realized that lol. Just wanna double check head with bunch of stains around the steam pipe seal, however it could b water running on top of it from the top.
