Quick Intake Gasket question

I am getting mixed answers on this. I have the how to rebuild an lt1 book and it says to use sealent only around the coolant holes on the intake gaskets that go on the heads and only on the side facing the intake manifold i believe... Anyway how much sealant do I use and exactly what spots on the two gaskets? I know I also need to run a bead around the front and rear of the block if I read correctly... Im ready to seal this bad boy up and get it installed.

Oh yea... I also did not put any sealant on my oil pan gasket...although it was very thick and took quite a bit of trouble to get the pan torqued to spec... Should I untorque everything and start over because I forgot the sealant? I already filled the block with oil too...

Either book is for the LT-1 or is plan wrong.

For the LT1 intake gaskets use sealant on the valley walls between them and use the little tabs to keep them on the heads.

There are no coolant passages on the intake flange of an LT1 head. The only
sealant is placed along the front and rear sealing edges of the block and you
run the bead approx. 1/2" up on the intake gaskets.

No coolant flows through the LT1 manifold, so as stated above, is the book for the original LT-1 engines from the seventies or the 1990's LT1 engine?
