AIR tube removed, need help w/ plug

I've been out of the lt1 game for a long time and I can't find any of my old help links. So hopefully there's some help to be found here.

I just picked up a 94 Z and the previous owner has removed the emissions tubes from the manifolds and left the holes open. Before this burns a hole in the hood or starts a fire I would like to plug them. Any info on thread size or fittings to use would be appreciated. I would assume I can just get a male pipe plug and put that directly into the manifold. but what size?

Thanks, and its good to be back.

wish there was one around here that stocked hardware. i have an advance, autozone and an oreilly's 1/2 store.

It wouldn't even be an issue if there was a sears hardware or an ace around i'd just buy all the ones that look close for 20 cents each and go from there.
I need the part size so i can go in grainger and get one, they aren't as fun/easy to deal w/.

It's the equivalent of a 22mm oil drain plug. Part #1016M on this site:

http://www.cgenterprises.com/magneti...ugs/metric.htm

Same size was used in the Cummins Diesel used in the Dodge pickups, so you could find them at a Dodge dealer, probably at a premium cost.

Note that this size only works for the single-cat manifolds. The dual-cat manifolds have a smaller thread.
