need help i think my heads might be cloged
i posted a thread about adjusting valves and i described how the oil came out the back of the head and and another board member said my heads might be clogged or a collapsing lifer here is the post

so this is what is happening when i start the car oil gushes out the back out the driver side head like the a stream of water it is about 1/8 of an inch thick i think there is oil getting up to the #1 cyl but i don't know how much is needed

Your heads are not clogged. What could be clogged are your pushrods or lifters. Do you see any oil coming out of the rockers? You need to look at your pushrods to see if the oil passage is clogged. If not then look at your lifters.
look at the back of the head to see the drain back hole in the head. sometimes the holes become clogged with oil deposits. look to see the head bolts, if the engine has a film of gunk at the lower side, the bolts can be covered. if this is the case remove as much as possible with a screwdriver,and find the hole. you will need to do an engine flush. and check the thermostat ,main cause of engine deposits. imo. check to see that all rocker arms are oiling "hopefully spraying on the fenders" good luck and keep an eye on oil level and pressure
