Rear main seal. What piece is this?

On the right. I have no clue where that goes?!

If you're just doing the rear main seal you don't use either of the two gaskets on the left... those are for the housing itself.

Wait, I'm confused. The one on the very left goes inside the housing. The one in the middle goes between the housing and the block. Where the hell does the one on the right go?

I don't see anything NEAR the back of the block with that many holes in it!

Its probably a universal gasket set with different application, thats why the extra gasket...

1 kit fits all......

Its for a different kit. don't worry about it. I never use the adapter to block seal I just put silicone on it

probly a dsl. conversion 350 or something 6.3L

Other GM motors use that same seal housing, my friend was doing the crank on a 4.3 liter chevy blazer, and i would swear it had that same housing, but it used the full gasket. Its just a gasket for another GM application.

your freinds 4.3 blaze probably was the same part number as an lt1 a 4.3 is almost exactly the same as a 350 just missing two cylinders. bore, stroke, rod length, timing chain, rockers pushrods, all the same.
