Well, I'm preparing for my budget build! What is going into it?

Comp Cams cc305, GMPP springs and retainers, pace setter LT's, 1.6 rr's, tubular crossmember, a new set of (stock) heads, a nitrous kit, new timing chain, new pushrods... All of this has cost me under 1000 dollars! I stripped one of my sparkplug threads out so I had to replace those stock heads- somehow I got motivated to do a little more over the months I've had her down... Now that the weather is at it's hottest I'm turning up the heat on my project and am going to get the wheels turning on it.

Anyone have any clues what I might run with this stuff? I ran about 13.5 at around 104 before with only cai, Borla catback, and gears. Yeah, I could be on Hosiers and skinnies also...

I'm trying to get a converter, but that has been kind of a problem for me, as a college student with a part time job as a police officer it's hard to come by money on the side.

a stall isnt required with that cam but it helps.

the thing that catches my eye is the gmpp valve springs... exactly which ones are you planning on running.

 

Hmmmmm, ones that I am buying off a member from here. He said they would go correctly with the cam... Any suggestions on a cheap set I could find new? Are retainers required with the springs? I just were going to get those because it all came together.
