How do you degree a cam?
How do you degree a cam?
I never did it before, but wanna do it right, the first time.
Obviously I will need a degree wheel, and some type of tool to measure when the lifter begins to move up or down.
It can be done without pulling heads right?

It can be done without pulling the heads, but it's not as easy to do.
Comp Cams actually has a kit that's not cheap but it gives you everything you need.
You need something to use as a dead stop so you can find 0° and a dial indicator along with a pointer (usually a bent piece of coat hanger sharpened to a point) and the degree wheel.
I'll try and find the PN of that kit later but if you rummage thru the online catalog you should find it under tools.
