should a stock windage tray fit with an aftrmarket crank

I just got my short block back from the machine shop. i went to put the windage tray on and it seems like it is going to hit the crank. should it do this? or am i doing somethign wrong

I wanted to stick with a stock oil pan because i need the room for my turbo piping to go under the engine.

It should fit and not hit the crank, but your rod bolts might be another story.

get longer milodon studs or have the machine shop make you an adapter so you can space it away from the crank as required. it may take you a couple of shots but its not too hard to zero in on a proper location. that is if you have a stroker. otherwise compare it with where the stock studs would have had it sitting and adjust its placement.
