help rebuilding

i needed a little help i want to rebuild my 350 and i am looking a cranks a pistons what would be a good all around set up any help is good help

i think the best thing to do would be to sit down and think what you want your goals to be. piston choice is probably gonna be the hardest since you will need to build for na, spray, or boost. i am buying all my stuff separate instead of a kit but am using a lunati sledgehammer stroker crank, lunati pro mod 6" rods, and still unsure on the piston. have fun with the build

same deal here but when i got the motor apart my cly. are rusted from a blown headgasket i now have to find a good lt1 block. this set me back atleast 1 mo., give us a budget and we can help out further.

i have around 1300 to spend on this build for right now came at a bad time to spin a rod bearing lol

Unless you are building a stroker you probably wont need a new crank just get the stock 1 polished and turned if needed. As for pistons i used mahle -5cc flattops they are a pretty good piston design and light weight.

1300 for parts and labor is going to be tight. With your budget, it may be more feasible to find a good conditioned LT1 shortblock.

i am doing alot of the work my self i have done a little bit of stuff like this just never on my own car i was looking at like summit rebuild kits and going to a machin shop to clean up the block
