fuel pressure 32 psi.
fuel pressure 32 psi.
Been doing the fuel pressure test via shbox site. Here is what I have thus far.
With key on, pump priming, 32 psi. After the 2 seconds of priming, the FP goes to 0.
Next I took the vaccum line off the regulator. With car idling ( FP 32 psi ) pulled the vaccum line off and it went to 40.
Then I took the fuel rails off, jumped the 12 volt connector for the pump. With the pump priming, none of the injectors were leaking.
Just looking for some assurance that it is the pump, or is there any other test I should do?
I have a Walbro 255, put it in the car last August. Sucks if I have to do it again.

You proved the pump is the reason the FP drops to 0 quickly. To be more specific, the check ball in the tank is not sealing properly. You should fix that check ball problem to prevent long starting problems.
But the pressure being low doesn't necessarily mean the pump. If the hose in the tank from the pump to the metal fitting were loose or had a hole in it, it could account for the low pressure. One common test is to block off the return temporarily to see if pressure goes up. If it does not, you know beyond a doubt the pump is bad.
Either way, you need to get into the tank to be sure. Incidentally, I have seen numerous people have problems with Walbro pumps on this bulletin board. Now I can't say if the problems came from them or the product but you can take it for what it's worth.
One of several reasons why, when I had the opportunity to get rid of the intank pump and go to an external pump, I put it were it is easy to get to. When the pump is external, so is the check valve.

How do I fix the check ball? Does that require taking apart the pump?

I will block the return line here in a few and let you know what happens
