sbc distributor clearance in 4th gen.

can the cowl be trimmed back and the dizzy come out?or another way so that you don't have to pull the motor?

From what i have heard, most guys just dent it in a bit, if you cut it be carefull, that metal is sharp when you are timing the motor.
