Where should the engine rpm be at for idel speed?

Depends on the trans and the temp.....you might inc that in your sig....shbox.com has a chart that will tell you

Fully warmed up:

M6: 800 rpm

A4: 650 rpm in neutral, 550 rpm in gear.
