Drilling for opti vent tube

I just bought a Trick Flow elbow and it is not drilled for the opti vent tube. Where is the best place to put it? I was thinking on the underside.

It shouldn't matter, I have mine tapped on the top of the elbow, if you don't want anyone to see the vaccum hose, then hide it on the bottom. It doesn't matter much to me since I already have a couple of shark nozzles tapped into the top of the elbow as well.

Why not just punch a hole in the rubber connector piece and stick it in there. Just make sure it's a tight fit. No need to drill holes in the elbow itself.

The vent tube should have a small blue piece stuck in it.On my trick flow elbow I just eyeballed it with the stock elbow and drilled a small hole.

I noticed in your sig your car is a 94. Do you have a vented optispark on there? If it is vented and the mechanic capped off the vent, I would uncap it and get the tube functioning again.

well im 90% sure at one point it was plugged into the optispark. when he was trying to figure out what was wrong with my car he mentioned he took a look at it. Ill see if its vented but im pretty sure it is. Where could i get a replace ment tube like that? or am i better off just buying a new elbow and upgrading now instead of in the future.

and do you think this could cause any big problems with the car? i got running issues now, thats why im curious

The hose is just a piece of vacuum line, you can probably get some line from any parts store for cheap. If you buy a new elbow, it won't come with the vent line, so whether you upgrade it now or later won't matter. If you do indeed have a vented optispark and the vent line is not hooked up, it can very well lead to premature opti-failure.
