LS1 / LS6 / LS2 / LS7 Exhaust Manifolds

Are they the same for each motor or different?

If different, where can I see pictures of each kind?

LS1's (specific to F-bodies) used one version of manifold from '98 - '00, then a revised (improved) manifold for '01/'02.

The LS7 manifolds are way different than any LS1 manifold.

I have no idea about the LS2 manifolds, since they never came in any F-body ... but as the C5 LS1 manifolds were different from F-bodies', I can only assume that LS2 manifolds would be different as well (and I'm not sure about the ones in GTO's either ).

Wrong wrong wrong. (specific to F-bodies) 98-99 have the same exhaust manifold. 00 and up are the same.

Sorry!!!

Was 2000 the year that the EGR was scrapped, or was it in '01?? I think (thought? ) that was part of what influenced the change in exhaust manifolds?? (but then I think maybe I've gotten that confused with the LS1 - LS6 intake manifold change???)

Can you confirm which is correct? (about the EGR ... I know that '01/'02 were the years for the LS6 intake) .

The egr was dumped in 01 with the LS6 intake but the exhaust manifold was left the same as the 00 with the EGR fittings not cast in.

98-99 tubular sheet steel exhaust with LS1 intake and EGR
00 cast iron exhaust with LS1 intake and EGR
01-02 cast iron exhaust with LS6 intake and no EGR
