Oil pressure...

Whats your oil pressure at idle fully warmed up?...and when you reply please list miles, stock/nonstock oil pump, oil, and filter used

mines at 60psi warm at idle
i have the mellings hig volume pump the big acdelco filter and am runnig 5w30 regular valvoline
motor is rebuilt with stock everything just new bearings and rings has about 2500 miles on it

Damn! That seems a bit on the high side. Mine runs about 20 psi at a warm idle.

Mine runs 25 to 30 when full hot with 100k on the clock. It used to dip to just above 10 lbs until I changed my pressure sender behind the intake.

I run 40 psi on a new meling, it drops to maybe 35 warm.

Mine is anywhere from 18-23 at idle when warmed up.

about 40 at warm idle...my idle is a little high though, right around 1050rpms

if i let the cra idle to long it will bottom out and check gauge come on. Mine is less than 20psi. 98k miles

When under hood temps get high is when the gauge drops off. Other wise it's always just under 20.

oh 4qts 10w-30 mobile 1 supersyn and 1 qt of lucas

1,500 miles on a rebuild with a Melling high volume, 8 pounds warm... My sender is bad; it reads 50-60 pounds at idle when it's cold.

~20 lbs when hot at idle. I have 89k miles. I use the bigger sized Wix filter and 20w-30 Mobile 1 oil.
