242/248 XFI on a stock bottom end car?
242/248 XFI on a stock bottom end car?
How would this work? It has less advertised duration than the 234/242 gm 847 cam so I'm thinking I might give it a try. How would it act, or would it make no power at all down low?
I'm not saying it might not last awhile or that these aren't decent motors. But the higher the rpm the shorter the life span no matter what you have. And Javier, no one said it's a bad thing to be a (little) crazy.
I had a 236/242 on a 110lsa with a MadWolf tune and it behaved as if it was stock while cruising around town. I would have gone bigger if my motor didn't blow up. LOL! Btw the cam is for sale.

2.0 spinning through 2nd once the spray kicked on on nitto's. I parked it after 1 run I didn't want to put my rear end through that again. + I let off once my shift light came on in 4th which was about 100ft before the finish line...

Or the 230/236 XFI, 230/236 XE, or 236/242 XE?
