new best times

went to e-town this weekend, impressed with the few things i did

last time i ran a 12.20 @112 it was in the summer and i took out 100 lbs of weight

this time it was 44 degrees out 0 humidity and all i did was add a 58mm throttle body and check over all the nuts and bolts on the suspension,

11.86 @114mph w/ 1.64 60 ft ran that same time twice. (runs were NA too)

let me know what u guys think

You have an LE2 396 and you're only trapping 114?

I believe you need a dyno tune.

What compression is this motor running? You need to get that car figured out. You have some serious issues going on somewhere. Even at Englishtown you should be trapping over 120 with that package. DCR? DA at the track during this time? Elevation? Post up the tracks numbers for that night and a full mod list. We gotta get that thing running.

WHAT?!!? For the past 2 weeks I have been giving guys HECK about their cars running 114 (around the same MPH as my Bolt On Car with let's just say 100 less HP to the wheels) and then I give props to what seems to be the norm. I mean, most of the cars on here are in the 114-117 range so I need to change my perspective. And with that change I say 'good job' and get blasted.

What does the community want? Shon to be honest or Shon to change his perspective on things and accept 383s running 114-117, I can do either, just makes no sense.

And I just noticed you are running what would appear a high mileage LT1 with just a 306 cam and running 114, does that not make you go WOW???!!!!????

Shon, maybe you are a changed person, but I doubt it. And I'm not sure if a new you would be as entertaining as you have been in the past. You have to admit the above qoute seemed like you were bashing another LE car and that's the Shon we know. That and the Shon that can be very helpfull at times. So why not help this guy out and throw a few suggestions his way. Nice car you have by the way, I was checking out your page.

Most of the suggestions I throw out on these types of cars people do not like

Thanks! I hope in '07 we are able to produce some more results

so are you hating on h/c/stroker trapping at 114, and cammed cars trapping 114, bc id take it offensively, my junky 306 motor only traps 112...
