y pipe that will fit stock manifolds?

i have a 94 firebird formula. i originally wanted to put longtube headers on my car but because of a exhaust manifold bolt stuck in my head i cannot install longtubes. so i am stuck with manifolds. currently i have a hooker catback but stock cat and y pipe. are there any y pipes that bolt onto stock manifolds? overall i am looking for the best flow i can get with my stock manifolds. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Go here, click on "Headers and Exhaust" and scroll down until you find the Random Tech Y-pipe:

Frankly, you are going to spend a small fortune on an aftermarket y-pipe and the gains just aren't going to be there unless a pair of headers is installed with it, which in your case is not a possibility. My next best suggestion would be to install a 30 dollar cutout, it will sound awesome with stock manifolds/ypipe and it should even bump your power numbers up by possibly another 6-10rwhp.

i would say either way you need to get that bolt out. eventually you are gonna develop an exhaust leak. from my experience if the exhaust gasket isn't tightly sealed by each of the exhaust ports the hot exhaust gasses will begin to burn through the gasket.

i had the same problem and after the original gasket burned through, i had a harder and harder time keeping the following gaskets to stay tightly sealed.

either way i wouldn't believe the reported hp gains that some companies advertise for a y-pipe for stock manifolds,.. and for the cost of a head gasket, manifold gasket and exhaust gasket your problem could be fixed.

random technologies. they're going to be the best with aftermarket bullet cats and all provisions for hookups. made of stainless and are a 2.5" ID as opposed to OD.

another option if you dont want cats is in the summit racing stainless version for about 200 bucks.

I had a Borla y-pipe with Morflo cat on stock manifolds... sounded and performed awesome. If you check the for sale / wanted you may find one used.
